UCY is the largest University and main research organization in Cyprus. UCY has a student population of 7000 (2000 graduate). The Department of Computer Science has 22 faculty members, and 100 postdoctoral researchers and PhD students. Its research activities cover intelligent and distributed systems, software engineering, internet and mobile technologies, e-Health, and e-Government. The Department publishes more than 100 journal papers per year and attracted research funding of more than 30 MEUR over the last decade. The SREC group has an extensive experience in system security and privacy, software exploitation and hardening.
UCY, through SREC, contributes to several core technical tasks related to software development, road-mapping and use cases.
