CyberSec4Europe hosted over 150 partners and guests at its second discussion and social event at the Representation of the State of Hessen to the EU, featuring a keynote presentation from Turo Mattila on behalf of the Finnish EU Presidency.
The evening event following the second general meeting of CyberSec4Europe was opened with a welcome from Jan Schonebeck, Head of Unit, Hessen Representation to the EU and followed by Professor Kai Rannenberg, Goethe University Frankfurt, the CyberSec4Europe project co-ordinator.
The theme of the evening was “The Cybersecurity Competence Network and Centre in the context of the Finnish EU Presidency”, and, to set the scene for the ensuing panel discussion, Turo Mattila, Deputy Representative of the Political and Security Committee for the EU provided the keynote address on behalf of the Finnish EU Presidency. Following the keynote, the overall intention of the panel was to provide feedback on ideas for consideration during the coming six months of the Finnish Presidency.
