NEC is involved in securing a blockchain platform for relevant use cases and device security devising TEE-based solutions to ensure high performance privacy processing over encrypted data. In CyberSec4Europe NEC contributes security and privacy enablers related to public and private blockchain advancements. This is based on its experience in previous projects in applying these to storage, financial and supply chain applications. In addition, NEC contributes to securing devices based on secure hardware as well as the attestation of properly running critical software.
NEC specifically contributes its experience with blockchain to the demonstration use case for supply chain management, and further contributes with its security experience to new financial applications related to PSD2.
