Giuseppe Manco
holds a Ph.D. an M.Sc. in computer science from the University of Pisa. He is currently a Director of Research at the Institute for High Performance Computing and Networking (ICAR-CNR) of the National Research Council of Italy and a contract professor at the University of Calabria. His current research interests include knowledge discovery and data mining, recommender systems and social network analysis, deep learning and cybersecurity. He has been the coordinator of several national and international research projects. He has been serving on the program committee of several international/national conferences, including: IJCAI, AAAI, IEEE ICDM, ECMLPKDD, SIAM SDM, PAKDD. He served as a program co-chair of ECML-PKDD 2016 and general chair of ISMIS 2022. He is serving as an associate editor for the Journal of Intelligent Information Systems, Knowledge and Information Systems and Machine Learning Journal.
